Yes, we recommend sifting your tea powder for a smoother, finer texture.
Note: Sifting is optional for Cha Lab by Elaiksir’s Harukaze Matcha, NagiSakura Matcha, Kinsan Hojicha, and Amber Roast Oolong, as these are fine enough for blending. Explore our tea selection
You can use any matcha powder. All Cha Lab by Elaiksir matcha selections are ceremonial-grade, carefully selected to bring out their full flavor, smooth texture, and fine microfoam when prepared with the Cha Maker.
Yes. Use the Hojicha, Chocolate and Milk modes. The Cha Maker also works well with coffee, whey protein, and other dairy-based beverages — giving the drinks a smoother, more evenly emulsified texture.
The bowl is dishwasher safe. The base should be only wiped clean with a cloth only — do not submerge or place in a dishwasher. Please clean directly after every use. For more cleaning instructions, please see our FAQ.

Yes. If your ceramic bowl is accidentally damaged and needs to be replaced, please contact us at cs@elaiksir.com. Our customer care team will assist you with purchasing a replacement bowl.
